Audiologist (0.5 FTE)

About the Role
As an Audiologist, you will assist with the smooth day-to-day operation of the Audiology department by providing efficient, effective, holistic and safe diagnostic assessment and rehabilitation of the hearing-impaired population of all ages.
You will work in a small and highly motivated multidisciplinary team providing diagnostic and rehabilitation services to the population who qualify for our services. You will also support the Newborn Hearing Screening and Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) specialist services.
This is a district-wide position, based in Nelson with regular travel between Blenheim and Nelson.
The role is permanent part-time (0.5 FTE), working 40 hours per fortnight working Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm.

About you
As an Audiologist, you will:
- hold a relevant qualification in Audiology that is recognised and approved by the New Zealand Audiological Society (NZAS),
- hold a current certificate of clinical competency, or be eligible for full membership, from the New Zealand Audiology Society (NZAS).
Experience particularly in paediatrics is preferred, but we encourage any interested Audiologist to apply, as we would be happy to support the right candidate in gaining the required clinical skills.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
