Ngā mōhiohio e pā hānga ki tēnei mahi (About this position)

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Otorhinolaryngologist to work on a permanent 0.4FTE basis (32 hours a fortnight). You will be working within a secondary care setting providing care and treatment for ORL patients with a wide range of ORL conditions.

Although this position is based in Nelson you will provide a district-wide service across both Nelson and Wairau hospital sites, with 1:5 on call, acute and elective delivery.

We are looking for a specialist who is ready to bring their skills and experience to a smaller provincial hospital and enjoy the lifestyle that this affords.

You will have vocational registration with the New Zealand Medical Council and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS), or be eligible for the same.

Salary for this position will be as per the current senior medical and dental officer collective agreement dependent on skills, experience and gaining full vocational registration in NZ.
