Ngā mōhiohio e pā hānga ki tēnei mahi (About this position)
This position is located in our well-equipped ultrasound department where we undertake a wide range of investigations including: general abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, musculoskeletal and vascular studies.
Our radiology team prides itself on being friendly and supportive and works with the people of our community to promote, encourage and enable their health, well-being and independence. This role is be best suited to a person who values teamwork, respects individual needs and is motivated by excellent clinical outcomes.
Ko wai he kaitono tōtika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?)
You will have:
- Some experience in general, vascular, upper abdomen, obstetric, gynaecologic, and musculo-skeletal areas
- NZ registration and a current annual practising certificate in Ultrasound.
- Excellent technical skills and knowledge.
- Well-developed communication, critical thinking skills and a commitment to family centred care.
- Be capable of working independently and within a small team.
- A strong commitment to quality healthcare.
You will also be versatile and able to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
