About the Role

As a Secretarial Support, you will provide secretarial and administrative support to our consultants and clinical teams. This will include the typing of medical documents, patient correspondence and managing appointments. You will look after file management, patient record keeping and ensure the efficient and accurate processing of documentation.

This position requires excellent attention to detail to maintain accurate data management of our patient information care system and transcribing of medical documents.

It is a full-time fixed term parental leave cover for 12 months, working 80 hours a fortnight (1.0 FTE).  
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday between 8.00AM and 6.00PM.

About you

As a Secretarial Support, you will:

  • have a bright, outgoing personality and possess excellent interpersonal skills,
  • have a passion for delivering a consistently high level of customer service,
  • be a competent typist and possess a sound knowledge of the MS Office Suite,
  • be highly empathetic and respect the importance of maintaining patient confidentiality,
  • have demonstrated the ability to manage a busy workload. 

Knowledge of medical terminology would be an advantage but is not essential.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.
