About the Role
Nelson Hospital Theatre Suite consists of 6 Operating Theatres with a Recovery Room, a Sterile Services department and Endoscopy suite. Shifts are rostered and rotating across Sunday to Monday with on call after hours.

We are a friendly and supportive team focusing on providing a caring and professional environment, delivering quality care and extended nursing practice.
About you
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
- You will be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current APC and post-registration experience working with a multi-disciplinary perioperative team.
- You will have a positive attitude, an innovative and adaptable approach to practice, excellent communication skills and a real commitment to providing quality patient-centred care.
- You will also be a team player, who enjoys keeping up to date with clinical practice, with excellent organisational and time management skills.
