We have a range of casual pool opportunities for skilled, motivated and enthusiastic NZ Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses with post-registration nursing experience. 

As these are casual positions you could expect ad hoc shifts, (covering leave and illness), with some forward planning and scheduling available when covering planned leave. 

We are recruiting nurses who are able to work the traditional AM, PM & Night shifts and/or flexible hours of work to support clinical teams.

Flexible hour examples:

  • 09:00- 14:00
  • 10:00-14:30
  • 14:00-18:00
  • 18:00-23:00 or similar.

N.B. Applicants must be NZ or Australian citizens, or NZ permanent residents, or hold a valid visa.

Your excellent clinical and communication skills and your can do attitude will be put to good use in this role as you’ll be working in a dynamic environment and adjusting to a variety of clinical areas. 

You are required to provide proof that you have completed your primary course of NZ approved Covid-19 vaccinations (i.e. first two vaccinations).

The full-time equivalent salary range for:

  • a Registered Nurses is $66,570 to $95,340
  • an Enrolled Nurses is $61,146 to $73,609

based on the current NZNO Nursing and Midwifery MECA (pay equity adjusted) dependent on skills, experience, and registration in NZ.
