About the Role
This is a rotational physiotherapy position giving you the opportunity to experience different clinical areas, including Outpatients, Acute inpatients, Rehabilitation and community-based work. This well supported rotational position will give you opportunities to develop your clinical skills as a Physiotherapist.
As a Physiotherapist (Rotational), youwill be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing quality assessment, intervention, advice and discharge planning through a patient-centred approach. This role requires you to be adaptable to change, resourceful and flexible to service needs. You will be providing care across a continuum from inpatients, outpatients, to community and weekend on-call work.
Based at Wairau Hospital in Blenheim , this is a full-time role working 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE), Monday to Friday, 8.00AM to 4.30PM with rostered ‘on call’ weekends.

About you
As a Physiotherapist (Rotational), you will:
- Hold NZ registration in Physiotherapy and a current practising certificate with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand;
- Have a strong foundation in evidence-based practice and a commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care;
- have problem-solving skills with the experience and ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively;
- have excellent communication skills to liaise with health professionals and health agencies;
- be ready to be part of a flexible team that works together to deliver excellent physiotherapy services.
We are looking for a clinician who has a genuine passion for working with clients across the continuum and who values being part of a multi-disciplinary team.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
