About the Role
As a Physiotherapist, you will be based at Nelson Hospital working within the outpatient physiotherapy team providing care for clients with a wide range of conditions.
You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing quality assessment and goal orientated interventions, through a patient-centred approach. This role requires you to be adaptable to change, resourceful and flexible to service needs.
This role would be suitable for someone with post graduate experience of at least 3 years.
This is a permanent part-time role working 64 hours per fortnight (0.8 FTE), Monday to Friday between the hours of 6.00AM to 8.00PM. There will be an expectation you contribute to a physiotherapy roster in the weekends.

About you
We are looking for a clinician who has a genuine passion for working with clients and being part of a dynamic and supportive Physiotherapy team.
As a Physiotherapist, you will be or have:
- NZ Registered Physiotherapist with comprehensive clinical assessment and problem solving skills with the experience and ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively;
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with health professionals and health agencies;
- A strong foundation in evidence-based practice, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care;
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.
