About the Role

Here at Health New Zealand (Nelson Marlborough) we are looking for an extraordinary PA to proactively support and work alongside our Chief Medical Officer and Chief Nurse. This role is based at Nelson Hospital, and you will engage daily with our people at every level of the organisation.

About you

We are looking for an experienced and energetic self-starter who is confident, pays close attention to detail, has a sense of humour and the passion to make a real difference to enable our communities to live well, stay well and get well. You will bring several years of experience in a similar role ideally within the health sector, or other complex environment.

Your communication skills will be second to none, so too your commitment to providing excellent customer service.  You will display confidence in prioritising not only your own workflow and managing your deadlines but in managing the workflow and deadlines for Senior Executives. You will be working as part of a high performing team and will consistently display confidentiality and discretion.

Key requirements for this position include:

  • Positive outlook with a real desire to help people
  • Advanced organisational and planning ability
  • Strong multi-tasking ability
  • Proven experience of minute taking and diary management
  • Energetic style with a pleasant mature manner
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage changing and fast paced complex health environments
