About the Role
As a Perioperative Supply Chain Coordinator, you will:
- work closely with Health NZ Nelson Marlborough’s supply chain team, medical companies and suppliers to ensure the continuity of equipment and supplies for perioperative areas;
- maximise organisational benefits through effective procurement and supply chain management;
- manage maintenance and compliance programme for operating theatre related equipment.
This role primarily supports service delivery within the operating theatre suite at Nelson Hospital; with some involvement across other public and private healthcare providers.
This is a full-time permanent role working 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE), Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8.00AM to 4.30PM. No on-call is required.

About you
As a Perioperative Supply Chain Coordinator, you will:
- have excellent communication and relationship building skills,
- have the ability to work with health professionals, administration staff and approved vendors,
- be highly organised,
- require minimal supervision,
- have the aptitude to manage a diverse and busy workload.
This position will suit someone with a stock management and /or clinical background or other experience within the health sector. Previous purchasing/supply chain management experience is desirable.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
