About the Role

As an Orderly, you will provide patient care by safely moving patients and items around the hospital in a courteous , professional and well-presented manner. Your presence will contribute to the effective day-to-day operations within the department.

We have a permanent full-time position available, working 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE) , Monday to Friday 7.30AM to 4.00PM.

No on-call is required.

About you

As an Orderly, you will be an excellent communicator who is passionate about delivering a quality service. You will be efficient and able to manage your time effectively. A clean driver’s licence is essential.

Additionally, you must:

  • be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time,
  • bephysically fit and active with knowledge of heaving lifting techniques,
  • have a clean driver’s licence (essential)
  • be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.

Hotel / Porter / Orderly or Security worker experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.
