About the Role

As a Needs Assessment Service Manager, you will lead a team dedicated to improving the quality of health care provided to support people with complex physical, mental health, disability, age related needs and or Covid 19 to receive optimal co-ordinated care to support living their best lives.

This is a fixed term role for 12 months working 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE), Monday to Friday 7.00AM to 7.00PM.

About the Team/Service/ Location

Working within a Restorative Care model, our Needs Assessment team works with older people affected by complex health conditions. Our team is based at the Richmond Hub and we have close working relationships with Nelson & Wairau Hospitals, Regional & Local Commissioning leaders, Aged Care and Home Care providers plus other health agencies and community services.

About you

As a Needs Assessment Service Manager, you will:

  • Be comfortable in a complex environment which requires rapid learning and improvement;
  • Be a highly motivated manager with strong leadership experience;
  • Motivate through influence and facilitation of a shared vision;
  • Have Financial and business planning experience to ensure budget and relationship management is successful for service;
  • Have experience in wider Health or NAS Management, Older Peoples service or disability service (advantageous).

 The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
