This is an exciting opportunity to join our Radiology department here at Wairau Hospital where we offer a comprehensive diagnostic radiology service including: General Radiography, CT Scanning, Ultrasound and Mammography. 

The full-time equivalent salary range for MITs working 40 hours a week is $70,842 to $100,466 (Steps 1 to 7) based on the current Medical Imaging Technologists Collective Agreement  dependent on skills, experience, and registration in NZ.

You will be registered with the NZMRT Board and hold a current APC.

You will be a positive, friendly and supportive team player with a good sense of humour and have:

• sound knowledge of diagnostic radiography
• well-developed communication skills and empathy
• the passion to deliver high-quality healthcare
• the flexibility to work a Mon-Sun rotating roster with on call

On-call will be required from 10.30pm to 8.00am on rostered shifts.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.
