There are spaces available with an immediate start for Lead Maternity Carer Midwives working in the Marlborough community.
This is a unique position as you will have the benefit of being self-employed and setting your own work hours, while still being a valued member of our community midwifery team.
There are currently 6 vacancies for Lead Maternity Carer Midwives (LMCs), supporting ‘mums to be’ in Marlborough. You can either establish a practice of your own or join existing LMCs. In total there is approximately 500 births per annum and a diverse population within the Marlborough region. Passionate about working rurally or within an urban setting? Home and primary birth or more complex care? There are all these opportunities and more in Marlborough! Plus you will be living so close to the stunning Marlborough Sounds, National Parks across the Top of the South and the bustling cities of Wellington and Christchurch for weekends away!

Please register as a Lead Maternity Carer with Health NZ/Te Whatu Ora to claim the modules of care provided to your caseload of women. You decide the number of ‘mums to be’ you wish to support. There is an immediate caseload available – no delays in income.
