Nelson Marlborough Health (NMH) is seeking a part-time dermatologist to join the Department of Medicine. As we operate services district-wide you will be required to provide services at both Nelson Hospital and Wairau Hospital in Blenheim.
As the sole dermatologist you will be a key resource to the wider health team working closely with your primary care colleagues in a distributed care model to ensure medical dermatology care is provided in the optimal setting of care.
The successful applicant will support and complement our existing medical, surgical and primary teams in the wider delivery of Skin Lesion services, and be a part of the wider South Island dermatology network.
Opportunity also exists for the delivery and development of private services across the Top of the South.

We are looking for a specialist who is ready to bring their skills and experience to our provincial hospitals and enjoy the lifestyle that this affords. You will be vocationally registered with the NZ Medical Council. As a highly skilled diagnostician you will be a great team player, with excellent communication skills.
Qualifications required upon taking up the position:
- FRACP or equivalent
- Vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
- Hold a current annual practising certificate
