About the Role

Community Allied Health Services is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated physiotherapist to join our Allied Health team based in Richmond, Nelson.

As part of our team, you will work in a collaborative setting, sharing expertise and resources to deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients. You will play a key role in assessing, planning, delivering individualised treatment programs, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic and effective care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver tailored treatments.
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans focused on improving clients’ mobility, function, and quality of life.
  • Educate clients and their families on managing symptoms, self-care techniques, and preventative practices.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and other physiotherapists, to ensure cohesive care.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and provide accurate documentation for continuity of care.

About you

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • NZ registration in Physiotherapy and a current practising certificate with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand.
  • A strong foundation in evidence-based practice, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to delivering compassionate, person-centred care.
  • Experience in a hospital or community setting is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a small team with a commitment to provide high standards of client care.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
