The Endoscopy department is looking for an experienced Senior Registered Nurse ready to take that next step towards clinical leadership and management. This is a temporary position working 80 hours a fortnight, where your time will be divided equally between coordinating and triaging.
Previous nursing leadership experience, an expert level PDRF and post graduate study, or working towards, is highly desirable.

Whilst based at Nelson, you will have district wide responsibilities.

You will have a minimum of 5 years nursing practice, recent experience in endoscopy nursing and a real desire to be part of a growing service.
To succeed in this role you will be able demonstrate your ability to:
- Understand the key responsibilities that sit with the endoscopy team and support the direction of these within the scope of the role.
- Lead nurse led triage and understand the nature and delivery of the service.
- Work well within a small team and communicate the key values of the organisation with energy and positivity.
- Influence process change and data accuracy across the service.

The salary range for this designated senior nurse position (Grade 3) is $92,687 through to $102,178 based on the current NZNO Nursing and Midwifery MECA dependent on skills, experience, and registration in NZ.
