Clinical Dietitian (Community) Nelson Hospital, Permanent, part-time

About the Role
We are looking for a New Zealand Registered Dietitian to work within our small, diverse department based at Nelson Hospital and amongst the wider community allied health team in Richmond . The role willcater to clients requiring secondary care services for a wide variety of conditions and will work predominantly in the community and also provide some adult outpatient clinic support in Motueka.
This is a permanent, part-time role working 64 hours per fortnight (0.8 FTE), between the hours of 8.00AM to 4.30PM, Monday to Friday,

Our team of 13 Dietitians service all parts of the community across Nelson and Wairau Hospitals, and the Richmond and Marlborough Health Hubs. Our work is diverse and interesting, and we have a great team who work hard to make a difference.

About you
As a Clinical Dietitian, you will:
- Have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain working relationships,
- Work in a supportive and honest manner with positivity and enthusiasm,
- be a NZ Registered Dietitian with a current Annual Practising Certificate,
- have at least two years of previous comprehensive hospital based clinical or generalist experience,
- have experience in a variety of adult nutrition interventions and be comfortable providing community based interventions and education, particularly home enteral nutrition,
- Be flexible to work the hours as required,
- Hold a New Zealand Driver’s license.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
