Are you an experienced Health Care Assistant with a can do attitude and the flexibility to adapt to a changing and dynamic clinical environment on a daily basis? If so, this Casual Pool role could be the ideal position for you.
About the Team/Service/ Location
This casual pool role requires you to utilise your knowledge and experience in general surgical/medical/acute care nursing to provide quality care and support.
As a Health Care Assistant, you will be part of our dedicated nursing environment with full support. Your role is to work within the team to assist nursing staff in care delivery, one-to-one patient therapeutic observations and other tasks as directed.
About you
You will have a mature outlook, the ability to get on with a wide variety of people as well as excellent communication skills. You will also have the ability to work in a flexible and methodical manner, demonstrate honesty and reliability, and use appropriate initiative.
Experience within the health sector is required, and you will ideally hold a NZQA Level 3: New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing - Health Assistance Strand, or equivalent, or be willing to study toward.
