Cardiac Physiologist (Nelson)
Cardiac Physiologist, Nelson Hospital, Permanent Full-time

About the Role
As a Cardiac Physiologist, you will perform cardiac and diagnostic tests. The role will include standard ECG work, stress testing, Holter monitor fitting and reporting, cath lab work involving Angiography and Cardiac Catheterisation, Pacemaker and ICD insertions.
Pacemaker and device therapy knowledge and experience is desired.
The working hours are 64 hours to 80 hours per fortnight (0.8 FTE to 1.0 FTE), Monday to Friday 8.00AM to 4.30PM. Call may be required to cover acute cardiac catheter lab cases. As we offer a district-wide service you may be required to work at Wairau Hospital in Blenheim on occasions.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Our Cardiology team operates in a multi-disciplinary environment supporting cardiac diagnosis and interventions. Our 4 Cardiac Physiologists work in partnership with colleagues at Wairau hospital to provide services.

About you
As a Cardiac Physiologist, you will be well organised, self-motivated, committed to standards of excellence and have good interpersonal skills and attention to detail. You will:
- be a qualified and experienced Cardiac Clinical Physiologist (CCP),
- hold current APC and registration with the Society of Cardiopulmonary Technicians (SCT) and Clinical Physiologists Registration Board (CPRB),
- have eligibility and rights to work in NZ
