Administration Support - Clinical Support Services
Temporary position covering parental leave for up to 12 months, commencing May 2021

Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)
This parental leave position, working 56 hours a fortnight (0.7FTE), is located in our Medical Admissions and Planning Unit which is integrated with the Day Stay Unit.
Days and hours of work are:
- 9.30AM to 6.00PM: every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
- 8.00AM to 12.00 noon: every Sunday
will be working within multi-disciplinary teams including a range of health
professionals and other administration staff. Your duties will include, but are not
limited to: ensuring patient documentation is maintained and up to date, admitting,
transferring and discharging patients, filing, database entry, and other tasks
required within the department to ensure smooth patient flow. You will also
be expected to assist the other administrative staff by covering periods of leave
The starting salary for Administration Support is $45,720 per annum (pro rata i.e. based on a 40 hour working week).

You will be the type of person who enjoys the challenge of multi-tasking and prioritising your workload. You will be self-motivated and will have well-developed administration, interpersonal, and time management skills. It will also be important that you work in a methodical and accurate manner and pay close attention to detail.
Previous administration experience, a strong degree of computer literacy and the ability to work autonomously are essential.
