About the Role

As Administrator / Secretarial Support, you will provide administration support across our Live Life Disability Support Service, including Managers, Service Leads, Support staff and Team Leaders enabling them to focus more on their roles supporting people to live the best possible life.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Data entry;
  • Laminating;
  • Minuting meetings;
  • Answering phone calls;
  • Photocopying and scanning;
  • Monthly administration team checks;
  • Processing visa receipt envelopes;
  • Approving visa purchases (online);
  • Typing, saving and printing of documents;
  • Customer Service, including greeting people and liaising with office staff/managers;
  • Manage the admin email inbox, such as assigning, actioning and filing;
  • General office tasks such as organising work, tidying, checking stationery supplies, top up printer paper, meeting assistance;
  • Other Tasks as assigned by the Team Leader Administration Support.

You will also be expected to assist the other administrators by covering periods of leave and sickness. 

Hours to be negotiated, 20 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Live Life Disability Support (LLDS) provides support to people who have disabilities to live great lives in the Nelson Marlborough community. 

We support people to manage their day to day lives in ways and at times that work for them. The people we support have a wide range of abilities, gifts, and challenges. We actively encourage people to pursue their dreams and try out new experiences.

About you

As Administrator / Secretarial Support, you will:

  • Be team focussed and will thrive in a fast paced role;
  • Enjoy the challenge of managing last minute changes, whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy;
  • Have previous administration and secretarial experience;
  • Have an intermediate or high level of computer literacy including Microsoft applications;
  • The ability to work autonomously.

Experience with hospital management systems/databases would be advantageous.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
