About the Role

As ACC Clinical Support Coordinator, you will supportthe day-to-day ACC administrative and coordination requirements to prepare for discharge and transition to the community.

You’ll need to ensure patient information is entered correctly and accurately into the system and respond to queries in a professional, timely manner.

This is a fixed term, part-time role for up to 12 months working 40 hours per fortnight (0.5 FTE), Monday to Friday, with the start/finish hours to be negotiated with the preferred candidate.

About the Team/Service/ Location

We are looking for a Wairau based person to work alongside our Nelson coordinator providing support to patients and hospital clinicians across the district related to ACC claims and ongoing care needs of clients. This role sits within the Allied Health Team but connects with health professionals across medicine, nursing, allied, ACC, Aged Residential Care and Home Based Support Providers.

About you

As ACC Clinical Support Coordinator, you will:

  • Apply integrity and remain confidential when dealing with sensitive and discreet patient information;
  • Have great attention to detail and excellent time management and organisation;
  • Understand and follow processes while identifying improvements and efficiencies in systems;
  • Have great interpersonal skills to work across different teams with cooperation

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
