Support Workers (Casual) – Physical Disability Support Services

Mission: Supporting people to live the best possible life

About Physical Disability Support Services (PDSS)

The people we support live in their own homes, with support provided through a residential contract. We support each person to manage their day to day lives in ways and at times that work for them. The people we support have a wide range of abilities. Some people need support with their personal care and taking care of household tasks; some need support to participate in their local communities and some need communication and behavioural support too. We actively encourage people to purse their dreams and try out new experiences, and can guarantee that no two days working at PDSS are ever the same.

N.B. Although Disability Support Services (PDSS) comes under the umbrella of Nelson Marlborough Health, we are not a medical/clinical service.  We are a community based social model service providing people with disabilities quality of life outcomes, moving towards enabling good lives.
