Te Whatu ora Nelson Marlborough is the main health provider for Te Tau Ihu, the top of the south. Nearly 3,000 strong, we are Nelson and Marlborough’s largest employer, which means the opportunities here are endless. Our main office locations are Nelson and Wairau Hospitals and Richmond and Blenheim Hibs but we are spread across the region and service all parts of the community. Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)

An opportunity exists for a Sector Relationships and Contracts Manager to provide quantitative and qualitative support to the model of care work streams and contracting activities supporting the Health of Older persons (HOP) service. 

You will contribute fully as a member of the Strategy, Primary and Community team and work collaboratively with other services to ensure the delivery of quality healthcare across TWO NM. The position reports directly to the General Manager Strategy, Primary & Community.

You will have knowledge and experience of the New Zealand health sector, contract management, project planning and management experience as well as significant experience in across-continuum leadership and management with a large and complex organisation. You will be the type of person who thinks and act strategically, builds relationships and mobilises support. You will provide up-to-date evidence around service development and improvement and will foster a positive culture sustaining an environment of innovation, adaptability and flexibility.
