Nelson Hospital Theatre Suite consists of 6 Operating Theatres with a Recovery Room, a Sterile Services department and Endoscopy suite.  Shifts are rostered and rotating across Monday to Sunday with on call after hours.

Ko wai he kaitono tōtika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?)

* You will be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current APC

* post-registration experience working with a multi-disciplinary perioperative team

* You will have a positive attitude, an innovative and adaptable approach to practice, excellent communication skills and a real commitment to providing quality patient- centred care.

* You will also be a team player, who enjoys keeping up to date with clinical practice, with excellent organisational and time management skills.

* Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth 

* Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
