The Day Stay Unit at Nelson Hospital provides services for all surgery day cases, day of admission surgery, medical day cases, radiological procedures, cardiac procedures and numerous infusion services. We are looking for a positive registered nurse with robust clinical knowledge and a commitment to teamwork to join the unit working rostered and rotating shifts Monday to Friday.Ko wai he kaitono tōtika? This fixed term 0.7FTE (65 hours a fortnight) position would suit a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has great assessment and time management skills, is confident in their practice, works autonomously and can relate well to a wide group including patients, their families, our multidisciplinary team and consultants.
Every day is different, and our nurses enjoy the variety of work, the people they interact with, and giving each patient the best patient experience they can.
