About the role

Our busy and well-equipped High Dependency / Acute Assessment Unit (HDU/AAU) is closely co-located with our Emergency Department at Wairau Hospital in Blenheim.

We have a temporary part time position available working 56 hours a fortnight (0.7FTE) covering parental leave until 23 April 2020.

About you

You must be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current NZNC practising certificate and will have post graduate experience ideally in intensive care, coronary care or ED. Consideration will also be given to those with a commitment to developing skills in complex and critical care.

You will enjoy the variety and challenge of a rapidly changing environment. We provide a supportive and nurturing workplace to assist staff to meet the challenges of this diverse area, at the frontline of the acute health care service. 

You will be a team player, who enjoys keeping up to date with clinical practice, with excellent organisational and time management skills and a commitment to quality.
