Te Tauihu health and wellness provider Te Piki Oranga has an opportunity for a registered nurse to work with Wairau whānau in our Whānau Ora framework. Our holistic Te Ao Māori approach is unique in the Te Tauihu health and wellness sector, and is beneficial for both our kaimahi and the whānau we work with.

This Wairau/Blenheim-based position is fulltime permanent.
The purpose of this role is to:
Provide clinical health services that identify, prevent and reduce cardiovascular disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease/asthma, diabetes and cancer within the whānau of Te Tauihu.
Provide assessment and develop Whānau Ora plans for whānau/individuals to improve their hauora.
Utilise treatment, intervention and prevention strategies consistent with the competencies and code of conduct of the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
Work alongside general practitioners, specialists, and clinicians to improve the health status of the whānau/individual.
