Manager – Asset Management
- Lead the development and implementation of asset management strategies supported by high quality asset management policies, systems and practices

About the role
This new position will be a senior role within the Finance, Performance & Facilities team and will lead the development and implementation of asset management strategies; supported by high quality asset management policies, systems and practices, to achieve optimal return on investment and effective deployment of Nelson Marlborough Health’s (NMH’s) property, infrastructure and/or equipment portfolio.
The role will take responsibility for the development of the asset management plan including providing direction for capital planning into the future. This position plays a critical role in determining the asset requirements required both before and during the planned redevelopment of Nelson Hospital.
You will have a relevant tertiary qualification, or extensive experience in the asset management field and will be a strategic and innovative thinking with demonstrated experience in implementing, embedding and maturing asset management practices in a complex organisation. Previous health sector experience would be desirable.
You be the type of person who is held in high regard and who builds and maintains effective business relationships across the organisation and with external customers.
