Health Care Assistant – CCDM/VRM Resource Pool
Care Capacity Demand Management (CCDM) Variance Response Management (VRM) Resource Pool, Nelson Hospital

Are you an experienced Health Care Assistant with a can do attitude and the flexibility to adapt to a changing and dynamic clinical environment on a daily basis? If so, this VRM/CCDM Resource Pool role could be the ideal position for you.
Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)
This resource pool role requires you to utilise your knowledge and experience in general surgical/medical/acute care nursing to provide quality care and support.
This is a new position working 48 hours a fortnight (0.6FTE) as rostered across predominantly PM and night shifts. As a Health Care Assistant you will be part of our dedicated nursing environment with full support. Your role is to work within the team to assist nursing staff in care delivery, one-to-one patient watches and other tasks as directed.

You with have a mature outlook, the ability to get on with a wide variety of people as well as excellent communication skills. You will also have the ability to work in a flexible and methodical manner, demonstrate honesty and reliability, and use appropriate initiative.
Experience within the health sector is required, and you will hold a NZQA Level 3: New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing - Health Assistance Strand or equivalent.
