Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)
We are looking for an experienced administrator with excellent customer service skills to staff our busy enquiries desk at Nelson Hospital, working 8.30AM to 5.00PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. However, it will important that you have the flexibility to provide relief cover for our other Enquiries Administrator, who works Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, as well as the Tele Ops staff in our call centre, once trained.
This diverse role would suit someone who enjoys helping people and the challenge of working under pressure while maintaining a calm and welcoming presence. The salary for this role is $43,720 (pro rata per annum i.e. based on a 40 hour working week).

You will be the type of person who is always willing to go the extra mile to deliver excellent customer service. You will a clear and confident communicator and will manage the demands of the role by being highly organised and efficient.
You will be confident in the use of Microsoft applications and will ideally have PC based switchboard experience. However, if you’re a quick learner, and are up for the challenge, we are happy to provide call centre training.
